As a Cloud Infrastructure engineer you will join the Infrastructure team and work with passionate professionals on moving GOG infrastructure to the next level with cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

Sneak peek of what you will experience:

  • microservices (PHP, GoLang, Node, Python) handling 35 000 reqs/s in peak moments
  • Docker all across the development pipeline and production Kubernetes cluster
  • hybrid infrastructure managed as a code (Terraform)
  • fresh microservices and long-lived ones (technical debt is present and requires requiring smart adaptation to the new infrastructure)
  • close cooperation with DevOps, SRE and Product engineering teams

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with:
    • Kubernetes - containers orchestration, including cluster management (preferably both on-prem and cloud)
    • virtualization/containerization systems (KVM, Docker)
    • infrastructure as a code in complex environments (Terraform, Ansible, Packer )
    • CI/CD pipelines and automation (GitLab, preferably also Jenkins)
    • scripting languages (bash, python)
    • network infrastructure (including Consul) and DNS management
    • monitoring utilities (Grafana, Icinga, InfluxDB, Prometheus)
    • cloud infrastructure (at least one of GCP, AWS, Azure)
    • Openstack (on-prem + cloud)
  • Linux (Debian) administration skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Proactiveness and capability to self-organise
  • Eagerness to share knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pluses:

Experience with any of the following:

  • migrations from on-prem to cloud infrastructure, MySQL or similar relational databases, ElasticSearch or similar alternatives, GoLang
