Animaitor I used to game on GOG a lot. Now that the integration is broken, I rarely use GOG anymore. Most of my friends are on Steam. Fix it you FOOLS!!
komozeck you gotta add Steam officially and bring joypad controls. that's it. I wouldn't leave the platform after that.

Syro_ I am ok to take some risks with some account but not my Steam account. I do not want share my steam keys with I-dont-know-you . Please make it official, it would be great. And it would be great if I can enter an API (revokable) key instead of my log/pass. I did not look if possible but please Valve & GOG make it happends and I offer you a chocolate box.
Leucis_ if they finally started supporting steam, GOG would become my daily driver. Sad that it seems like they just dropped GOG Galaxy entirely

It works for me after disconnecting Steam, reinstall using the method described, connecting Steam. Also works after GOG Galaxy restart: Steam integration still connected. So all the Galaxy folks have to do now is to point to this github instead of the previous one. Of course the official support would not hurt.

That said... It feels like galaxy is build with duct-tape and tie-wraps. :-(
The idea of that a community can create plugins is absolutely fantastic, but when the community abandons the plugin(s), the end user is left with the broken pieces...
CptScroller Clarification: I want to move away from steam as my main launcher but I can't move to something that won't integrate steam.
CptScroller I'd like to be able to use Galaxy but steam is the big bucket for my game library. I'm hoping for a way to list ALL my games to reduce the number of launchers, not add a new one.

LifesaverM Clearly, the community integration isn't getting fixed anytime soon and at least 2/3 of my collection is on steam vs all the other platforms. To truly achieve what GOG wants to achieve with Galaxy as a unified library this absolutely has to happen.
